I started my career as a magazine editor in 1996. After relocating to California in 1999, I continued taking pictures for magazines and started doing portraits of people.
From 2016-2019, I went back to Japan and had a popular photo studio in Minato-ku, Tokyo. I focused on glamor photography for models and actresses.
In 2019, I moved back to San Diego and started a photo studio in Carlsbad. Now I’m focusing on dog photography.
My style for dog portraits is “Classic” or “Picturesque”. Some people describe it as “Renaissance beauty”. In my studio I use the same lighting equipment that I used to take magazine cover photos for models. This is how my dog pictures turn out beautifully.
